Create Personalized Thanksgiving Day Menu Cards

Thanksgiving is just a couple of days away, but you still have time to add some special flare to your holiday dinner table. This year, I decided to help our Thanksgiving host (my grandmother) by making menu cards for the table. She always decorates with a festive centerpiece, so these really brought the colors together and provided a nice touch to the table.
Here’s how I create these personalized menu cards:
Step one
Before you can write a menu, you have to plan a menu. Decide in advance what will be served on Thanksgiving Day. If your family is like mine, the basics (turkey, dressing and sweet potatoes) are always served, but sometimes we like to mix it up and try new recipes.
Step two
Create a menu template in design software. Since I am not very artistic, I asked a friend of mine for help. You can use clip art images and fancy fonts like we did to make the cards more festive.
Step Three
Save your file as a PDF and either take to it your local FedEx Office® where you can work with a Team Member, or upload it online through our Print Online function. I chose cardstock paper and had them printed on 8.5" X 11" sheets so they would be big enough to read and lie nicely across the place settings.
From all of us at Out of Office, we hope you have a happy Thanksgiving! We are truly thankful for our readers.
