Get Ready – It’s Spring Cleaning Season!

I consider myself to be the resident organizational expert here on the “Out of Office” blogger team. Just ask anyone who knows me about my love for zip top bags and my label-making machine! As a neat freak, I am always anxiously awaiting the arrival of spring as that harkens to mind spring cleaning. And, if you’re like me, you may have been bitten by the spring cleaning bug already. So, I thought I’d post a great round-up with quick, easy and fun organizing ideas I’ve seen online. Take a look at the sites and projects below, and be sure to add some of yours to the comments section.

  • HGTV’s Web site has an incredibly extensive database of organizing tips – plus videos to help you better envision some of their best projects.
  • A blog penned by professional organizer Jeri Dansky – Jeri’s Organizing and Decluttering News– is loaded with fun product finds and easy-to-implement organizing advice. One of her recent posts features beautiful file folders to replace the boring manila folders most people use. Now that update will make the daunting task of home office organization that much more appealing.
  • On I’m an Organizing Junkie you’ll find frequent posts on better ways to tame the clutter around your house – plus an easy-to-follow organizing process that makes it painless to whip any disheveled room into shape fast.
  • Organized with Style is a Chicago-based organizing service with a fantastic blog. Check it out for several years’ worth of posts on how to organize everything from coupons to cosmetics, sponges to sippy cups.
Hope all my fellow organizational enthusiasts out there enjoy these sites. And for those who don’t share my compulsion, maybe they’ll inspire you to join in on the coming spring cleaning frenzy!
