It’s Not Too Late for Holiday Cards

Christmas is sneaking up on me this year, and I was just about to decide I wasn't doing cards. Between e-mail and Facebook, I keep my family and friends up to speed, so who needs printed cards, right? But let's face it: nothing beats getting real mail. And how hard is it really to mail something once a year?

Fellow procrastinators, take heart! It's not too late to order your holiday cards or photo calendars. You can place an order at fedex.com/gifts all the way up until December 20 to get free rush shipping of your items in time for Christmas. Whew!

So I snapped some pictures of my son, and I dropped them in the template and ordered my cards today. FedEx Office has a new online ordering system, and I was really happy with how easy it was. With the free rush shipping, I will have them in time to get them out before Christmas. No need to do “Happy New Year” cards because I waited too long again this year!

Now that I know how easy it was, I'm going to upload some more pictures and get some calendars printed for the grandparents. And now that I know I have until Dec. 20 to get free rush shipping in time for Christmas, I bet you can guess what this self-professed procrastinator will be doing this Sunday...

Love the card!  It's so hard to get a good picture of my toddler - she's always running to grab the camera.  :)

I hear ya! My 2 year old likes to see the pictures right after I take them. I have a lot of closeups of him reaching for the camera! Thanks for reading!

Love it

I love this blog! Soo many fun and new ideas! I can't wait to see more!

I love the templates

I love the templates available! I am so bad at getting Christmas cards out every year, but this would make it so much easier! Not having to hand write them all would save me so much time and probably stop me from procrastinating so much!

Great Cards

What a great way to actually send mailed cards.  I love ecards for convenience, but there is still something special about a mailed card and Fedex makes it easy.  I love personalizing the cards with photos.

 Yes, it is a treat.

Yes, it is a treat.  And I've always loved even the mailing process . . . which I haven't yet done this year.  Hmm--FedEx to the rescue? :-)

Beautiful!

I couldn't agree more, we love getting holiday cards, especially the kids. There special project is arranging them and displaying them on our mantle every year! I love the blog, love all the ideas, and am just now catching up on all of the back posts I've somehow missed :)

Love FedEx Office

My neighbor makes amazing hoilday cards at FedEx office every year and was recently featured in our local paper for doing so. I made my most recent business cards there and they're better than the ones I paid $100 for a few years ago at an exclusive print shop. I LOVE FedEx office.

We'd love to see the article

We'd love to see the article about your neighbor! If you have a minute, please send us an email at with the name of your newspaper so we can look for it! Thanks!

Had given up

I had just about given up on sending out cards this year. Perhaps I'll change my mind as you did and check out some templates. Thanks for the tip.

not too late for cards

You have some very nice projects on this site....It is NOT too late to send Christmas Cards...I have also sent them after Christmas, and have received them late as well.  They mean just as much to me!

One year...

One year my sister sent a Valentine's letter instead of a Christmas letter!  She just ran out of time and decided to send a later letter anyway - it worked out so well because then we got to hear all about their Christmas, too!

Great idea!

I am going to hurry and get my cards made.  I don't know why I always felt I needed to have my husband and I on our christmas cards.  I think my boys will be great.  Besides I take a lot more pictures of them than I do of myself and my husband.

Totally

I totally agree that a sending a card "snail-mail" as I call it, is the best!

Especially in this age of technology, people forget that "personal" touch!

love the blog!

I love getting cards at Christmas!

I love getting cards at Christmas! And I especially love getting photo cards. I looked over the cards on the Fed-Ex site and I think I've got next years card already picked out.

 I think that's a great idea

I think that's a great idea - I love the holiday card options! I think I will have lots of fun designing cards for next year. This year, I already sent my cards out nice and early!

Fabulous!

I know there are alot of people out there like me who do things last minute!  I love the calendar idea for a gift, I think I may try that!

Personalized and a keeper!

Unlike the bunch of ecards you will get, the old fashioned hardcopy cards are such a treat to receive and I love personalized ones with pics of family on them

Awesome idea and wow...free rush shipping till the 20th.....I can just imagine how many will be queueing up to get in on this!!!!

 I worked on the newsletter

I worked on the newsletter last night and now all I need are cards to stick them in. Love the free rush shipping.

I couldn't agree more; it's a real treat to receive an "old school" holiday card!

I love all the templates on the website.  I think I'll go with a foil version.  That should dazzle my friends and family!
