Kids Valentine’s Day Cards

If your kids have a busy schedule of Valentine’s Day activities this year, there are plenty of ways to keep things festive and fun with time to spare! Make your preparations for kids’ Valentine’s Day festivities simple with the FedEx Office® Print Online service and the V-Day card template I’ve designed below. Whether you want to personalize these cards with your own photos or have your little one add their artistic flair, the results will look very cheery!
Materials
· 1.75” circle paper punch (available at craft stores)
· Color copies of the PDF template provided here: “Have a Sunny Heart Day!”
· Several copies of photos of your child (one for each Valentine you’re making)
o Before you print the photos, make sure the digital picture is sized and cropped in a way that you are able to use the circle paper punch without cutting off anything really important or getting a lot of unnecessary background in the final photo.
· Craft knife and ruler or paper cutter
· Glue stick
· Marker
Optional
· A2 envelopes
· Ribbon
· Small hole punch
Step 1
Use FedEx Office Print Online to order color copies of the “Have a sunny heart day!” template on 80lb card stock paper. Order enough to make the number of Valentine’s you need, plus a few extra just to be safe. The helpful preview screen on the online ordering site will show you what you are ordering to make sure you’re totally happy with the layout. Once the order is complete and ready to be picked up, an email will be sent to your inbox—very convenient!
Note: The template is designed with crop marks that can be used to cut the printed pages at home. If you prefer FedEx Office® offers cutting services as well to save some time.
Step 2
Gather enough copies of a photo of your child and use the circle paper punch to cut out the face only. As noted above, make sure you crop and test your photo before printing out the number necessary to avoid any snags in this step.

Step 3
Use a glue stick to attach the photos to the center of the sun on your printed Valentine’s.
Step 4
Have your child sign their cards with a marker (so that it stands out). If you decide not to use photos, have your little one add an artistic touch by drawing some facial features on the sun. Your cards are now ready to be placed in envelopes and shared with friends at all of this year’s Valentine’s Day parties!
Step 5 (optional)
To take these cards one step further, use a small hole punch and ribbon to make it turn the cards into tags that are easier to attach to party goodie bags or school backpacks.

Step 6
Have a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
