Rounding Up the Luck of the Irish

St. Patrick’s Day is such a fun holiday. With green galore, shamrock fun, and “Kiss Me” pins, this is a day full of festivity. Whether you’re Irish, part Irish (like me), or not is really no matter – March 17th is a holiday when everyone can enjoy the playful Irish spirit and celebrate! For this week’s round-up, I pulled up some fabulous Irish crafts, recipes and activities to make any St. Patty’s Day parties you’re planning or attending an emerald gem!

  • If you are looking for activities to do with your little leprechauns, Tip Junkie has more than a dozen creative ideas for celebrating the holiday with your youngsters. Even if you only use a couple of these, I know your kids will wish it was St. Patty’s every day. From Lucky Charms and green milk, to silly shoeless pranks, your little ones will love this Irish holiday!
  • Earth911– a site I wouldn’t typically hit first when thinking about St. Patrick’s Day events – has some interesting thoughts on how to “green” your March 17th activities. Definitely take a peek at the site for these and other great environmental ideas.
May good fortune be yours…
