Saying Thanks with Style

The end of the school year is near and thank you cards come in handy to include with teachers’ gifts. I’ve designed a set that features four different colors and lined pages for younger children that still need guidelines. Get the downloadable template here and get your cards ready before the last day of school arrives!
Materials
- Copies of the PDF template provided here
- Craft knife and ruler or paper cutter
- Paper trimmer or craft knife and cutting mat
- Bone folder (a dull-edged device used to crisply crease or fold paper)
- Round corner punch (optional)
o Tip: if you don’t have a paper trimmer or bone folder, you can also use the cutting and folding services at yourlocal FedEx Office
Step 1
Place an online orderfor the color copies on 80lb card stock paper. The preview screen on the FedEx Office® Print Onlineweb site will show you what you are ordering to make sure you’re getting exactly what you want before you finalize the order.
Note: Each color has a corresponding lined page that follows it in the PDF document (pages 2, 4, 6, & 8 of the template). When you set up the print order, make sure to exclude the lined pages if you don’t need them for your cards. If you do order them use the double-sided printing option so that the inside of the cards are lined.
Step 2
Use the craft knife or paper trimmer to cut the pages in half. Use the guidelines that are included on the prints.
Step 3
Crease and fold each card in half. Use the bone folder to press against the fold to make it crisp.
Step 4 (optional)
The solid colored area can be left as is or decorated with stickers or a marker drawing made by your child. If you prefer rounded corners, use a corner paper punch to customize the cards further.
