Have you recently seen a car decorated to celebrate newlyweds tying the knot? Based on tradition, the groomsmen wrap the bridal getaway car for the happy couple. Soap, cans, bells and streamers usually make up the arsenal of handy tools designed to draw attention to the newly married couple.

My friends are getting married this August in Dallas and I want their wedding to be special right down to their reception departure. I like to plan ahead, so I created a Newlyweds Car Sign for the back of their car. I’ll give it to the groomsmen before the wedding so they can place it on the car.

To make your own Newlyweds Car Sign:

· Use this template to customize your sign with its step by step directions. You can use different colors for the font or swap out the clip art. Just remember that if the couple is tinted windows you’ll need to use colors that will show up through a dark window, such as white, yellow or red.

· Take your finished design to a FedEx Office Signs and Graphics team member and ask him/her to help you print it on static cling material. Because you’ll be placing the sign on the inside of the car facing out, the team member needs to print the artwork in reverse. This way other drivers can read the sign and honk!

· Clean the window and let it dry before placing the Newlyweds Car Sign.

This Newlyweds Sign won’t damage the car’s windows and it stays put for weeks if desired. It’s also a clear decal, so the bride and groom will be able to see through their windows and drive safely to their honeymoon.
