De-Clutter your Cabinets this Spring!

Spring is here and this year I got a jump start on organizing my house. I had a few days off last month and instead of going somewhere fun I decided to stay put and do some Spring cleaning. (To me having an organized home IS fun!)

 

I started in the home office, and after clearing out my filing cabinets I had a lot of old paperwork that I didn’t want to simply toss in the garbage. For one thing, I know that puts me at risk for identity theft since there were old bank statements, bills and forms from many years ago in there. Also, I wanted to be able to recycle the paper. So I took my old paperwork into my local FedEx Office^® for shredding. They have locked storage bins where you watch them place your documents. From there, everything is destroyed and recycled by an offsite, professional shredding service.

 

This is quick and convenient. And at just 79 cents per pound, an affordable way to clear the clutter.
