Last Day, Last Chance

If you’re like me, you hate waiting until the last minute for anything, especially preparing for Christmas. But sometimes it just can’t be avoided. Never fear, there’s still time to ship your holiday goodies and treats! But don’t delay - today is THE LAST DAY to ship your packages to ensure arrival before Christmas. FedEx Express is delivering through December 24^th for all the procrastinators and last minute shoppers out there!

And if you need some last minute gift ideas, here are some easy-to-grab things that you can pick up at any 24-hour drugstore. 

• Gift cards. Who doesn’t love a gift card? The recipient can use it however they like and you don’t have to worry about it being returned. Most drugstores have a variety of cards available and you can choose the amount to give.
• Framed photographs. This makes a great gift (and is one of my personal favorites) because most people I know don’t take the time to get their best pictures out of the camera or off the computer and into a frame. So if you have a special photograph of you and a friend, of your children or of an event, you can print it out and then pick up a cute frame to put it in. I did this with pictures from an engagement party for my soon-to-be mother in law and she loved it! 
• Holiday mug with hot chocolate or coffee. This is another easy gift, especially for office mates or someone you don’t know well (remember that great aunt you haven’t seen in years?). It’s simple – find a nice mug, preferably one that is microwave and dishwasher safe – and put some packets of hot chocolate or instant coffee in it. Then wrap it up with clear plastic wrap and tie a festive bow at the top. Done!
