Entertaining in style

 

I like to make many of my own designs but sometimes I just don’t have the time! I was looking for a simple idea for summer entertaining ideas and came across an idea at thoughtfullysimple.com that I would like to share.  


This idea is for placemats that can be cute, classy, or fun. You can use it for summer parties like barbecues or graduations, birthday parties, or for your messy little one as they get older and their “tastes” change! This is a quick and easy way to personalize any occasion!

First, take a trip to your local craft or paper store. Pick out your favorite scrapbook paper (typically 12x12). I found adorable summer prints that were double sided with different patterns so they are versatile.

Organization Solutions for a Hectic Summer Schedule

 

It almost seems counterintuitive but summer at our house requires more attention to a family schedule than any other time of the year. Unlike the school year, where my kids have a fairly consistent routine, summer is a jumble of fun activities like going to the lake, parties, mini vacations and camping. It can be hard to keep track of what is happening from week to week.
