Like most crafters, I spend a lot of time on the internet browsing for creative inspiration. I have been looking for any reason to throw a party lately. My husband is from the South, so I have been planning a Mardi Gras-themed party. I will be making his favorite spicy jambalaya and wanted some outrageous decorations to match. It has been really windy here in Dallas lately-- way more than usual. One good thing about a windy day is that it makes for excellent kite-flying weather. I have found different websites with tips for making kites and came up with my own template for a small kite that is pretty easy to put together and allows you to decorate it however you want.
