I like to make many of my own designs but sometimes I just don’t have the time! I was looking for a simple idea for summer entertaining ideas and came across an idea at thoughtfullysimple.com that I would like to share.  

Summertime always brings a flurry of special events. After attending several weddings and baby showers already this summer, I was inspired to create a free printable chevron thank you card and gift tags. Yellow and gray are popular color combinations this season and the chevron pattern (vertical stripes) seems to be everywhere!

 

 

It almost seems counterintuitive but summer at our house requires more attention to a family schedule than any other time of the year. Unlike the school year, where my kids have a fairly consistent routine, summer is a jumble of fun activities like going to the lake, parties, mini vacations and camping.
